Amber Valley Borough Council is looking to open an ice cream concession in Alfreton town centre – and it’s looking for a provider to run it.
Papers published by the council this week reveal that the concession would be located in Institute Lane and ask potential applicants to get in touch for further information.
The papers, which also unveil plans for ice cream concessions in Ripley and Belper, say: “The procedure for an ice cream concession in this location has now changed. This area is a Consent Street and as such it is necessary to follow a separate process.
“If you would like to be considered to provide your service in this area, can you please contact me for further information.”
Any businesses interested in submitting a tender for the concession in Institute Lane should contact Vicki England, markets and town centres officer at Amber Valley Borough Council.
Her contact details can be found in the council papers here.
