Police appeal after motorbike stolen

Police are appealing for information after a motorbike was stolen in a Derbyshire town earlier this week.
The blue Honda CBR 125 was taken from Birchwood Road in Alfreton over night on June 17 and 18.
A spokesman for Alfreton Police SNT said: “We are appealing for information relating to the theft of motorbike, a blue Honda CBR 125 on Birchwood Road, Alfreton overnight on 17/06/24 into morning of 18/06/24.
“The bike has since been located after being spray painted grey and dumped on a footpath between Roberts Drive and Mansfield Road.”
The spokesman continued: “We are sharing a (CCTV) still of a male we would like to talk to in connection with the theft among other incidents.
“In particular we want to hear from any drivers with dashcam footage or homeowners with CCTV that may have captured the incident – or the moments before or after.”
