Do you recognise either of these men?
Derbyshire Constabulary would like to speak to them in connection with the theft of a wallet from an elderly man in Alfreton earlier this month.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Police issued these CCTV still images via their Derbyshire Alert system today (Tuesday, October 31) and said: “Can you help us identify these two men? We’d like to speak to them in connection with the theft of a wallet in Alfreton.
“It’s after a man aged in his 80s reported having his wallet, containing bank cards, stolen while he was shopping in Tesco, on Hall Street between around 11am and 11.25am on Monday, October 9.”
The spokesman continued: “The cards are then thought to have been used to attempt to make purchases in other stores.
“We believe the two men pictured may have information which could help with our enquiries.
“Do you recognise the men? If you have any information please contact us on the non-emergency details below, quoting reference 23*628430.”
