Police have launched an investigation after a fire at a recreation ground in South Normanton.
The Market Street Recreation Ground is closed until further notice following the fire on Thursday, June 29.
Police were called to the scene in Market Street just after 10.10pm following a report that a bench was on was on fire.
The fire then spread, completely destroying an outdoor canopy.
Anyone with any information about the incident, CCTV footage or dashcam footage is urged to contact Derbyshire Constabulary and quote reference number 23*401367.
