Police have launched an appeal for information after a lorry driver was assaulted in South Normanton.
The incident happened on High View Road between 3am and 4am on Friday, November 18.
The appeal for information states: “The victim, a man in his 30s, was parked up when two men attempted to break into the trailer.
“When he approached the men they assaulted him – he was not seriously hurt and nothing was stolen.”
Officers are keen to here from anyone who was in the area at the time – drivers who were parked up or those who drove past and might have dashcam footage.
