Police have launched an appeal for information following two reports of indecent exposure in Somercotes.
Both of the incidents are believed to have taken place at around 2.40pm and 3.20pm on Monday (May 1).
The appeal issued by Derbyshire Constabulary states: “A man driving a white estate type car, possibly a VW Passat, is alleged to have pulled up alongside a girl walking along Birchwood Crescent, and two girls walking together on Tower Close.
“On both occasions he is reported to have stopped and asked the girls for directions, while indecently exposing himself.
“The man is described as being white, aged in his 30s with brown hair and a neatly trimmed beard.”
Derbyshire Constabulary would like to hear from anyone who might have dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage from the Nottingham Road, Couplands Place, Birchwood Lane, Birchwood Crescent and Langley Avenue area.
