Police investigating a robbery in Somercotes have launched an appeal to find the victim of the crime.
The robbery took place on Sleetmoor Lane between 4pm and 4.20pm on January 11.
Posting on Facebook on Thursday (February 2), Alfreton Police SNT said: “Two members of the public stopped a man who was running down the road carrying a woman’s handbag. They then managed to track down the owner of the bag and return it to her.
“Officers would now like to speak to the owner of the bag about the incident as part of the investigation.
“Anyone who knows the woman, or has any information, is asked to contact us using any of the below methods quoting reference number 23000037813.”
