Youngsters at a school in Derbyshire have been getting to know all about the work of a police dog.
Derbyshire Police recently took their police dog Rosie to visit pupils and staff at The Glebe Junior School in South Normanton.
A spokesman for Alfreton Police SNT said on Tuesday (March 19): “Today during Mini Police at the Glebe, South Normanton, the Mini Police had a visit from PC Starr who is one of Derbyshire’s dog handlers.
“The students got to meet Rosie the police dog and learn about what the police dogs do and how they are a valued part of our police force.”
