Police in the Alfreton area are warning vehicle owners about obstructive parking.
The warning comes from Derbyshire Police after there has been an increase of reports about the anti-social behaviour in some streets within the South Normanton area.
A spokesman for Alfreton Police SNT said: “We are seeing an increase in inconsiderate and obstructive parking of vehicles on Duke and Albert Street, South Normanton.
“We understand that these local roads are fairly narrow in places and some houses do not have driveways therefore parking on the street is needed, however recent reports includes vehicles parking fully on pavements causing an obstruction to pedestrians and prams etc.”
The spokesman continued: “Please park respectfully and be considerate of others whilst following the Highway Code.
“These photos are some recent examples of parking and owners have been spoken to. Any future reports will be dealt with accordingly.”
