A programme of entertainment events has been announced for the new season at South Wingfield Cricket Club.
From Bongo Bingo to a Poker Night, there’s lots of additional events to attend at the club, which is situated at Fourlane Ends, as well as all their team’s 2024 home matches.
A spokesman for the club said: “Get ready for a year of non-stop fun and excitement at South Wingfield Cricket Club.
“We are thrilled to unveil our incredible lineup of events for 2024, and trust us, it’s going to be an absolute blast. From thrilling competitions to the unforgettable Theme Night, we’ve got something for everyone.”
Here’s what’s in store for the programme of events at the club:

Darts Night on May 4: Test your aim and compete for glory in our darts tournament. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a casual player, this night promises plenty of bullseyes and excitement.

Race Night on May 18: Get your bets ready and cheer on your favourite horses at our electrifying Race Night. With thrilling races and fantastic prizes up for grabs, it’s sure to be a night to remember.

Golf Day on June 7: Tee off with friends and fellow club members at our Golf Day. Enjoy a day on the green, and channel your inner Tiger.

Bongo Bingo on June 15: Music, laughter, and bingo – what more could you ask for? Join us for a night of high-energy entertainment and fabulous prizes at Bongo Bingo.

Poker Night on June 22: Channel your inner poker face and go all-in at our Poker Night. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, there’s plenty of excitement and competition to be had.

Theme Night on July 20: A fun and longstanding tradition at Holme Land. Music, fancy dress and loads of activities will be on show at our Theme Night.

Women’s Softball Festival on August 18: Calling all female cricketers. Join us for a day of softball action, camaraderie, and fun at our Women’s Softball Festival.

Six a Side Cricket Tournament on August 25: Get ready for some fast-paced cricket action at our Six a Side Cricket Tournament. Gather your team, showcase your skills, and compete for glory on the pitch.

End of Season Party on September 14: And finally, we’ll be wrapping up the season in style with our End of Season Party. Join us for a night of celebration, reflection, and plenty of laughs as we bid farewell to another fantastic year.
