A new planning application seeks permission to build 10 retirement bungalows on vacant land in Riddings.
The application, submitted to Amber Valley Borough Council, is for land to the south east of the High Street.
According to the proposed site plan, access to the site would be via Nottingham Lane.
Under the proposal, each of the detached bungalows will have two bedrooms. A document attached to the planning application says it is expected that they “will be occupied by retired couples who are looking for immediate accommodation”.
