A new planning application seeks permission to turn Westhouses Methodist Church into a three-bedroom home.
The Alfreton Road church was sold at auction for £111,000 in December last year.
Now, Bolsover District Council has received a planning application seeking permission to change the use of the building to residential.
According to documents attached to the planning application, the proposal is to create a three-bedroom house.
