An Air Cadet squadron in Derbyshire is carrying out a recruitment drive for new members.
The Alfreton & Ripley Air Cadets are hosting an event later this month where potential new recruit can find out all about joining the organisation.
A spokesman for the squadron, which meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at its base in Outseats Drive in Alfreton, said: “We are recruiting. Are you aged 12 and in year 8?
“Are you keen to make new friends, take part in a variety of exciting activities and learn valuable life skills? Then the Royal Air Force Air Cadets is for you.
“Please join us for our upcoming recruitment evening on Thursday, February 29, where you can find out more about the fantastic opportunities the air cadets has to offer.”
