Alfreton bolster squad with acquisition of centre back Max Ram from Gloucester City

Billy Heath has dipped in to the transfer market to obtain the services of young centre back Max Ram who recently left fellow National League North side Gloucester City.
23-year-old Ram was born in Leicester and began his career at the Foxes spending time also at Nottingham Forest.
He had a short spell with Stratford Town before signing a one year contract with Wycombe Wanderers in August 2021. He was loaned out to Hungerford Town where he enjoyed his first taste of National League football.
Max scored his first goal for the Crusaders against Eastbourne Borough in January 2022 and scored three goals in total while on loan there.
After being released by Wycombe Ram moved across the border to Scotland to sign for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Max who can also play as a right back made ten appearances for the Championship side.
