A rescue training exercise has been carried out in a Derbyshire village by the fire and rescue service.
Members of Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service recently attended Cotes Park Industrial Estate in Somercotes for the large scale training exercise.
The training incident took place so that the service could test their emergency and breathing apparatus procedures.
A spokesman for the service said: “Exercise Mike recently took place at the Diversey facility in Somercotes.
“Eight fire appliances were part of the training exercise which tested various aspects including our Incident Command and involved crews using breathing apparatus and ‘Gas Tight Suits’ to execute rescues.”
