Round-up of planning applications for the DE55 area in March 2024

A number of planning applications have been submitted to the three local authorities which cover our area during the month of March.

Here’s a round-up of the applications for the DE55 area which have been submitted to Amber Valley Borough Council:

AVA-2024-0189: Garner Lane Farm, Garner Lane, South Wingfield. DE55 7LU – Two storey and single storey side extension including the extension of the first floor balcony.

AVA-2024-0146: Evans Concrete Products Ltd, Pye Bridge Industrial Estate, Somercotes. DE55 4NX – Installation of roof mounted 307.98kW solar PV system comprising of 708 x Canadian Solar 435w modules.

AVA-2024-0171: 117 Nottingham Road, Alfreton. DE55 7GQ – Proposed single storey front porch.

PDR-2024-0013: Swanwick Service Station, Derby Road, Swanwick. DE55 1BG – Application to determine if prior approval is required for a proposed erection of 20 metres high street furniture design mast supporting three antennas. Two dishes and ancillary development.

24/00136/LAWPRO: 51 Birchwood Lane, South Normanton. DE55 3DB – Conversion of existing attic space, roof-lights to front elevation, dormer window to rear elevation, insertion of window in gable end.

24/00122/LAWEX: Westfield Stables, Church Lane, Tibshelf. DE55 5NW – Application for a Lawful Development Certificate for residential use of caravan (C3a).

DE55 5JF – Discharge of Conditions 10 (Construction Environment Management Plan (Biodiversity) & Condition 11 (Landscape & Biodiversity Enhancement & Management Plan) of planning permission 20/00166/FUL + Discharge of Conditions 7 (Storage of Plant or Machinery) and 18 (External Materials) of planning permission 22/00229/FUL + Discharge of Conditions 8 (Remediation Works), 14 (Storage of Plant & Machinery) and 19 (Samples) of planning permission 20/00166/FUL.

24/00119/OUT: 49 Carter Lane West, South Normanton. DE55 2DX – Outline planning permission for single storey dwelling to include access.

24/00111/MINAM: Unit 39 East Midlands Designer Outlet, Mansfield Road, Pinxton. DE55 2JW – Increase in depth of cladding, minor change to glass panel sizes, lower door section, addition of double doors and a new external access ramp to the rear of the unit, number of glass panels and new ppc lovres added of planning application 21/00742/FUL.

24/00110/FUL: 1 Cliff Nook, Broadmeadows, Pinxton. DE55 3BL – Single storey side extension.

24/00102/FUL: 16 The Chine, Broadmeadows, Pinxton. DE55 3AN – Change of use of existing dwellinghouse (C3 use) to Children’s care home for up to three children (C2 use). Minor facilitating works comprising widening of driveway and vehicle access.

24/00106/DETHH: 4 Michaels Meadow, South Normanton. DE55 3HB – Single storey rear extension which extends beyond the rear wall by 5.6 metres, with a maximum height of 3.6 metres and eaves height of 2.5 metres.

24/00091/FUL: 1 Dalewood Close, Broadmeadows, South Normanton. DE55 3NT – Replacement of block paved area with Fairstone Sawn Granite Eclipse Setts.

24/00077/FUL: 79 Alfreton Road, South Normanton. DE55 2BJ – Rendering to all elevations, erection of wall and fencing and an increase in height to the outbuilding with a timber finish.

24/00059/FUL: 14 Tiree Close, Tibshelf. DE55 5QX – Erection of garage to front.

24/00015/FUL: Former Mystery Of Spice, Tibshelf Road, Westhouses. DE55 5AA – Change to use of the building from a former Indian food restaurant to an office and material/tool/work vehicle storage facility and erection of security fence.

24/00007/FUL: 110 Alfreton Road, Westhouses. DE55 5AJ – Solar PV System (24 panels) to the paddocks.

24/00216/FLH: 8 Birkinstyle Avenue, Stonebroom. DE55 6LF – Erection of two storey side extension and front porch.

24/00160/FLH: 14 Hallfieldgate Lane, Shirland. DE55 6AA – Proposed single storey extensions to front (porch) and rear of existing dwelling.

24/00148/FLH: 1 Well Lane, Higham, Alfreton. DE55 6EG – Proposed conversion of undercroft to external store and partial habitable accommodation plus single storey corner infill extension to rear of property.
