Round-up of planning applications for the DE55 area in November 2023

A number of planning applications have been submitted to the three local authorities which cover our area during the month of November.

Here’s a round-up of the applications for the DE55 area which have been submitted to Amber Valley Borough Council:

AVA-2023-0817: Woodside Grove, Chesterfield Road, Oakerthorpe, Alfreton. DE55 7LP. Converting existing stable building into shower block and ancillary accommodation for existing camping and caravan site.

PDR-2023-0055: White Rose, 55 – 57 High Street, Alfreton. DE55 7DR. Application to determine if prior approval is required for a proposed change of use through Class G permitted development of commercial to mixed commercial and two residential dwelling houses.

AVA-2023-0836: Willow Cottage, Coach Road, Golden Valley, Alfreton. DE55 4ES. Application for a Lawful Development Certificate for proposed erection of detached incidental building with solar panels on roof.

AVA-2023-0865: Evans Concrete Products Ltd, Pye Bridge Industrial Estate, Somercotes, Alfreton. DE55 4NX. Erection of portal framed building.

AVA-2023-0873: Somerlea Park Junior School, Bank Street, Somercotes, Alfreton. DE55 4JE. Demolition of existing Junior School. Erection of new Junior School to include new two storey building, external play/amenity areas, hard and soft landscaping, access and car parking provision and other associated works.

AVA-2023-0854: White Rose, 55 – 57 High Street, Alfreton. DE55 7DR. Changes to existing fenestration details with a new aluminium shop front to allow access to the new retail unit.

AVA-2023-0878: 37 Abbott Road, Alfreton. DE55 7HD. Change of use from garden shed into a dog grooming salon (sui generis).

AVA-2023-0871: Park Cottage, 39 Manor Road, South Wingfield, Alfreton. DE55 7NH. Listed building consent for the addition of two new timber single glazed windows to the front, removal of inner block wall and rear stone staircase. Addition of one new bi-folding door to match existing and two new timber double glazed windows at the rear.

AVA-2023-0861: 18 Birchwood Road, Alfreton. DE55 7HB. Demolition of single storey rear and side extension and construction of two storey side and single storey rear extension with balcony over.

Here’s a round-up of the applications for the DE55 area which have been submitted to Bolsover District Council:

23/00554/FUL: 6 Lea Vale, Broadmeadows, South Normanton, Alfreton. DE55 3NA. Two storey extension to side.

23/00564/TCON: 3 Hall Lane, Newton, Alfreton. DE55 5TL. Removal of one Silver Birch Tree.

23/00569/MINAM: Townend Farm, Lees Lane, South Normanton, Alfreton. DE55 2AD. Minor amendment to planning application 22/00668/REM – Condition 3 (N1981_008F) replace with Plan N1981_008J Revised Visibility Splays/Layout.

23/00577/FUL: 24 Erica Drive, South Normanton, Alfreton. DE55 2ET. Single storey extension to the side.

23/00581/TPO: 15 Hawthornes Avenue, South Normanton, Alfreton. DE55 2AQ. Two metre crown reduction (TPO BOL/5).

23/00584/ADV: 73 Mansfield Road, South Normanton, Alfreton. DE55 2EF. Advertisement consent for a mix of illuminated and non-illuminated signs for two drive-thru units, together with a totum pole.

23/00591/FUL: 28 Peregrine Way, Tibshelf, Alfreton. DE55 5AZ. Convert existing garage to habitable room.

23/00597/FUL: 24 Oxford Street, Blackwell, Alfreton. DE55 5JT. Change of Use from Dwellinghouse (C3) to children’s care home (C2).

23/00949/FLH: 6 Burnside Avenue, Shirland, Alfreton. DE55 6AE. Single storey porch to front.

23/00998/RM: Woolley Farm, Badger Lane, Woolley Moor, Alfreton. DE55 6FG. Section 73 application to vary condition one (Approved plans) of planning application 22/00146/RM for inclusion of garage doors and PV panels to house 01-04.

23/01017/FLH: 34 Main Road, Higham, Alfreton. DE55 6EH. Replacement windows and door with UPVC and composite to front (Affecting the setting of a Listed Building/Conservation Area).

23/01035/CATPO: 1 Hallfields Rise, Shirland, Alfreton. DE55 6DH. Notification of intention to prune Cherry tree within Hallfieldgate Conservation Area.
