A number of planning applications have been submitted to local authorities in our area during the month of October.
Here’s a round-up of the applications for the DE55 area which have been submitted to Amber Valley Borough Council:
AVA-2023-0754 45 Riber Avenue, Somercotes, Alfreton. DE55 4LL: Demolition of existing store and development of a single storey rear extension, raised decking to the rear of property, creation of access.
AVA-2023-0796 Nationwide Building Society, 35 – 37 High Street, Alfreton. DE55 7DR: Replace one projecting signage with new 600mm. Replace 1one grey fascia panel with blue and one Lozenge logo with new 490 mm logo height. Replace one ATM surround and decals with new. Replace statutory signage message a good way to bank. Replace safety manifestation with new.

23/00499/FUL Biggin Farm, Chesterfield Road, Tibshelf, Alfreton. DE55 5NP: Demolition of existing derelict farmhouse and erection of new dwelling.
23/00501/TPO 1 Heathfield Gardens, Tibshelf, Alfreton. DE55 5ND: To fell Ash tree and plant replacement tree.
23/00517/MINAM 24 Cornfield Avenue, Broadmeadows, South Normanton, Alfreton. DE55 3NN: Minor amendment to planning application 21/00249/FUL – Omission of single storey extension to north-east side, addition of ground floor external door and first floor window to north-west facing elevation of two-storey side extension, repositioning of ground floor window on north-east elevation, replacement of first floor en-suite window with north-west facing roof light.
23/00541/FUL 7 New Lane, Hilcote, Alfreton. DE55 5HT: Single storey rear extension of an industrial unit.
23/00545/FUL 14 – 16 Saw Pit Lane, Tibshelf, Alfreton. DE55 5NH: Retention of Temporary storage structure (20m x 50m) approved under planning permission 18/00431/FUL (approved on the 11th October 2018), for a further five years from the 31st December 2023 until the 31st December 2028.
