Somercotes Community Singers will present an evening of music from the movies next month.

The choir will present A Night at the Ritz at the Post Mill Centre, in South Normanton, on Saturday, April 22.

The show will feature songs from Les Misérables, Forest Gump and many more.

Somercotes Community Singers will be joined by guest artists Magenta Strings, who will perform music from the movies as well as classical tango, jazz and popular music.

Pam Hall, the choir’s chairperson, said: “It should be a night to remember with lots of popular songs.”
