Fit 3:16 has long been part of the Alfreton community and now it has a brand new home in the town centre.
At the beginning of August, Fit 3:16 moved to brand new studios located at Genesis Entertainment Centre on King Street.
The move marks the beginning of an exciting period for the fitness business, which was founded in 2010 by Dan Payandeh in 2010.
Dan, a personal trainer, started out by running a boot camp on Alfreton Park.

The business originally operated under the name Dan PT before rebranding to the name it has today.
Dan explains: “The inspiration behind Fit 3:16 comes from a bible verse John 3:16 and a play on words of all round fitness 360 – and I like WWE wrestling too, Austin 3:16.
“The bible verse gives me a grounding that the sessions are here to help others improve mentally and physically and spiritually, and not just for a business gain.”
The business has grown over the years and Dan now offers a range of classes with his team of instructors, which include his wife, Jos.

The company’s new home at the Genesis Centre has two permanent studios, one of which will be dedicated to spin.
The new studios are available Monday to Saturday, and there are a range of classes available including pilates, body conditioning and, of course, spin. One-to-one personal training is also available.
And this week, on Friday (August 25), Fit 3:16 will lead its first disabled-friendly class with Aera Support, which has also recently moved into the Genesis Centre.
Dan said: “All our instructors can tailor any session to suit your levels of fitness or work round any injuries that you may have so you don’t miss out.

“We also have small group sessions where you can hire our space/instructors for a block of sessions with your friends or sports teams.”
Classes can be booked on a pay as you go basis or via a membership.
