A town council in Derbyshire is calling for more stall holders to sign up to take part in a new monthly artisan market which is set to take place this Spring.
The Alfreton Artisan Market, which is being hosted by Alfreton Town Council, will be taking place at Alfreton House on Saturday, March 30.
It will run from 10am until 3pm, and stall set up time will be from 9am.
The shopping extravaganza, which will be held at Alfreton House in High Street, is set to offer all kinds of wares from food and drink, retro and vintage, as well as arts and crafts.
A spokesman for the town council said: “Calling all market enthusiasts in Alfreton. Mark your calendars because the Alfreton Artisan Market is coming.
“Starting from Saturday, March 30, we’re bringing you a delightful array of stalls, crafts, and local goodies right at Alfreton House.
“Whether you’re a foodie, a fashionista, or simply love browsing unique finds, this market hopefully has something for everyone.”
They continued: “Here’s what you can expect: Handcrafted Treasures: Discover one-of-a-kind crafts, handmade jewellery, and bespoke gifts; Delicious Delights: Treat your taste buds to mouth-watering street food, artisanal treats, and fresh produce; Local Artisans: Meet talented local creators and support their small businesses; Community Vibes: Showcasing local talents and crafts.
“The stall fees, which are discounted for this market only, are for commercial: £15, and Food & Drink: £37.50.”
The council spokesman continued: “Spread the word. Let’s make this market a vibrant gathering where Alfreton comes together.
“We will also be joined in March by White Post Farm and some entertainment.”

Lead Member for Regeneration at Alfreton Town Council, councillor David Taylor, said: “This is an exciting time for the council in launching their artisan markets which will hopefully compliment the existing businesses and market in the town and provide an alternate provision.
“We hope you can join us. See you there.”
