An appeal has been made for additional support to help a youth club facility to continue offering its services to Derbyshire youngsters.
The team behind the Railway Carriage Youth Club in Ironville has made the appeal for more volunteers.
A spokesman for the club said: “Help and support urgently needed. The Railway Carriage Youth Club offers safe spaces to help our young people explore who they are, make good decisions, increase their self esteem and more – giving them the confidence and skills they need to live, learn, work and achieve.
“Experienced and qualified youth workers are on hand to provide advice and guidance and provide a broad range of activities.”
They continued: “To enable this service to continue, your help is needed. In particular from people who are able to help with the administration of the club.
“The trustees who manage the club are getting older and many are unlikely to be able to continue in their roles for much longer. The loss of a precious village resource is imminent.
“If you feel that you can help in anyway please contact acadman175@yahoo.com.”
