A handful of roads in the Alfreton area are set to undergo an upgrade as part of a £6m Derbyshire County Council project.
The authority is set to launch its annual surface redressing programme next month, with dozens of roads across Derbyshire earmarked for improvements.
Among them are the following Alfreton area roads:
Improvements on these roads are, according to One Network, set to take place before the beginning of June.
Councillor Kewal Singh, cabinet member for highways assets and transport at Derbyshire County Council, said: “We know that keeping our roads and pavements in good condition is a top priority for local people so during May and June our contractors will be busy across the county.
“The warmer months are when we carry out our surface dressing programme as we need better weather conditions.
“Surface dressing helps to extend the life of a surface and helps to prevent potholes.”
