A charity, which is based in Alfreton, is gearing up to host a festive shopping and craft event as part of the Derbyshire town’s countdown to Christmas extravaganza.
Callum’s Voice Christmas Shopping and Craft Event will be taking place next Saturday (November 25) as part of the Alfreton Town Council’s Christmas Lights Switch On Event.
The charity, which is based upstairs in Alfreton House in High Street, will have a host of stalls showcasing a multitude of gifts and crafts for visitors to browse through.
There will also be a variety of craft activities on offer for young visitors to enjoy.
A spokesman at Callum’s Voice said: “Our hub will be open during the Alfreton Christmas Lights Switch On event on November 25 at 2pm until 6pm.
“We will have a range of Christmas items for sale along with Christmas Craft activities for children.
“Join us in our warm and cosy hub, upstairs in Alfreton House and help us raise much needed funds to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.”
They continued: “We have added some handmade Christmas Cards and decorations in preparation for our Christmas Shopping and Craft Event at the Alfreton Christmas Lights Switch On. These have either been kindly donated or made at our drop in sessions.
“We also have lots of other items including a selection of wellbeing gift bags, children’s pocket money toys and sportswear and trainers.
“Please visit us on Saturday, November 25, and every Monday and Tuesday from 10am to 12pm to browse our items.”
