Police have been out and about patrolling different parks in our area.
An update has been issued by Alfreton Police SNT for their patrolling in the Alfreton area.
A spokesman for the force said on Monday (January 22): “Whilst on patrols this evening on The Rec, Broadmeadows – as this is a priority and is a PSPO zone due to there being a lot of complaints about dangerous dogs – we have also had an issue raised about an off-road motorbike being down there causing issues to dog walkers.
“Also going onto South Street Park, which is another priority for our team – as there has been ASB issues raised – there was a group of youths down there playing football and we managed to speak with some of the group, which was nice to engage with the younger community.
“If you see us about, come and speak to us and raise any issues or just have a chat.”
