A convoy of festive bikers will deliver presents to a children’s charity next month in the UpRight Christmas Toy Run.

The event – set to take place on Saturday, December 17 – will support Safe and Sound, a charity that works with children who are at risk of child sexual exploitation.

This year’s toy run will be the third of its kind, with previous events seeing as many as 200 bikers taking part.

The UpRight Christmas Toy Run will start at Pidcocks Motorcycles Store in Long Eaton and end at the Safe and Sound head office in Darley Abbey Mill – but the event needs support from people across Derbyshire.

Wrapped presents can be donated in a number of locations, including Derbyshire Motorcycle School in Riddings.

Organisers are also looking for as many bikers as possible – in Christmas fancy dress – to take part in the toy run.
