David Nieper is recruiting for a full-time sample machinist to work at its factory in Alfreton.

The company is looking for somebody with previous sewing experience to join its sample team.

A job advert posted by the company says: “We need an experienced machinist with knowledge of lockstitch, overlock and cross stitch machining to play an important part in ensuring new garments are of the highest quality and provide technical instructions for make-up sheets.

“Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Most important is good sewing skills, an enthusiastic attitude and creative ability.”

David Nieper designs and makes luxury womenswear, knitwear and nightwear.
