James Engineering Constructions Ltd is recruiting for a workshop labourer/delivering driver.

We are currently recruiting for a workshop/labourer/delivery driver, working within our fabrication facilities and delivering as required to our sites around the UK. James Engineering is a family run business specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of secondary steelwork/retro fit works, staircases c/w handrail/balustrade, mezzanine floors, chimneys, ducting and flue support structures to name a few.

Responsibilities and duties

• Full UK category B driver’s licence – preferably clean driver’s licence
• Undertaking deliveries and collections locally and across the UK
• Undertaking labouring duties within the shop floor environment
• Previous experience working in an engineering fabrication environment desirable
• Previous licence/training or experience for counterbalance forklift truck desirable
• Proactive positive attitude
• Able to work under own initiative and individually or as part of a team

Overtime may be required to keep pace with our full order book and the requirements of given deliveries. Pay is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
