The Derbyshire Carers Association is calling for volunteers to join their Carers’ Voice Panel.
A spokesman for the association said: “We are looking for carers for our Carers Voice Panel.
Have your say – we want to hear your voice!
“Are you a carer over 50? Have you had to use computers or technology as part of your caring role? Maybe to access services? Complete assessments? How do you feel about this?
“Derbyshire Carers Association is looking for volunteers to come and speak to Sheffield and Durham Universities about how the digitalisation of care has affected them, and hear your thoughts about what would help carers in the future.”
The spokesman continued: “The meeting will be at 6pm on Monday, January 22, at Derbyshire Carers’ Association, 3 Park Rd., Ripley, DE5 3EF. It will also be possible to join remotely.
“Please contact Emma Beestone on 07816 283550 or by emailing emma.beestone@derbyshirecarers.co.uk if you want to get involved.”
Meanwhile, the Derbyshire Carers Association has a number of courses available.
The spokesman said: “We have a couple of Brightside courses which have been arranged for DCA registered carers to attend in High Peak.
“One air fryer cooking course and one local history course.
“To book a place please contact Katie Matkin on 07773 173 416 or email katie.matkin@derbyshirecarers.co.uk.”
