Vouchers issued under the Energy Bills Support Scheme are set to expire at the end of this month.

The scheme, which ended in March, gave every household a £400 discount on their energy bills for winter 2022 to 2023.

The Energy Bills Support Scheme made the offer to help households during the cost of living crisis.

All households were eligible for the discount but only those with a traditional prepaid meter were issued with redeemable vouchers.

Households with a prepaid meter were issued with six vouchers, each worth between £66 and £67.

The deadline for using the vouchers and benefiting from the discount is Friday, June 30.
