Weather warning for Alfreton as forecasters predict thunderstorms

The Alfreton area falls under a new weather warning for thunderstorms.
The Met Office has issued a yellow alert, warning that thunderstorms are expected to happen this afternoon (Monday, May 16).
The weather warning, in place from 1pm until 10pm, says driving conditions could be affected by the weather.
According to The Met Office, thunderstorms are expected in Alfreton at around 2pm.
