George Fox Exhibition at Alfreton Library

A small exhibition in Alfreton Library to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the birth of George Fox – founder of the Quakers.

Running from March 1 until March 31.

There are three small glass cases exhibiting items in the library – a short history, mention of local miracles (Mansfield); the Mansfield Quaker trail and some books including the Journal of George Fox, Faith and Practice, and some historic books from Chesterfield LM including ‘The Great Case against Tithes.’
