Members of the Alfreton & Ripley Air Cadets have bid farewell to one of their long-serving leaders who has stepped down from the role to prioritise time with his family.
SNCO, FS Naylor, has volunteered with the local air cadets squadron for nine years.
A spokesman for the group said: “1401 Squadron has recently bid farewell to our long serving SNCO, FS Naylor.
“After nine years of dedicated service, he has decided to step away from the Royal Air Force Air Cadets to prioritise time with his family.
“Throughout his tenure, FS Naylor has been a key member of our squadron staff, lending his expertise and commitment to mentoring and guiding our cadets.”
The spokesman continued: “Having previously been a cadet himself and serving in the Royal Air Force, his passion for the Corps has always been evident, and the skills and experience he has brought to the squadron have been integral to its success.
“Everyone at the squadron is grateful for the invaluable contributions he has made, and we wish FS Naylor all the best in his future endeavours.”
