Children aged four to 16 will be able to take part in a free summer holiday club at Christ The King Primary School throughout August.
The sessions are funded by Derbyshire County Council as part of the Holiday Activities and Food programme and are free for families who claim benefit-related school meals.
The activities at Christ The King Primary School, on Firs Avenue, Alfreton, will be delivered by Premier Education Group.
Dates are available throughout August, with each session taking place between 10am and 2pm.
Children who attend the summer holiday club will also be provided with healthy food.
Councillor Julie Patten, Derbyshire County Council’s cabinet member for children’s services and safeguarding, said: “The Holiday Activities and Food programme is a great opportunity to keep children active and learning throughout the summer holidays, as well as make sure they get a healthy nutritious meal and I’d encourage parents and carers to take advantage of all the places we have on offer.
“We’ve previously funded similar programmes over the school holidays and they were very well received.”
