A u3a group in Derbyshire is inviting new members to “Learn, laugh, live” with them.
Alfreton & District u3a is appealing for new members to join them in their multitude of activities and clubs which they offer.
A spokesman for the organisation said: “If you are retired or semi-retired and want to continue to learn, share your experience with others and make new friends then the u3a could be for you.
“Why not come along to Alfreton and District meetings to hear our varied speakers and find out about our interest groups?
“You may come along to one meeting free of charge.”
The spokesman continued: “We meet on the second Thursday of each month, 2pm-4pm, at Christ The King Church Hall, Nottingham Road, Alfreton.”
