A job vacancy for a Planning Technician has arisen at Amber Valley Borough Council (AVBC).
The closing date for applicants is January 31.
A spokesman for the council said: “We have an exciting opportunity to come and join our Development Management team.
“To apply for our Planning Technician role, you will need to: Have effective communication skills and good organisational skills together with an ability to relate to people at all levels; Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines; Operate IT applications, including word processing and spreadsheets; Self-motivation, ability to work on own initiative; Keyboard/typing skills and experience of Microsoft packages; Ability to absorb and communicate technical information.”
The spokesman continued: “The successful candidate will have a sound basic education, including Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or 4 and above (or equivalent), as well as ideally holding an ECDL and a planning qualification.
