Alfreton-based Callum’s Voice has this week entered into a partnership with Chesterfield-based charity Snapp-it.
Callum’s Voice, which is situated within Alfreton House, hosts regular crafts sessions for young people to enjoy.
Founded in memory of Callum who was tragically lost to suicide at just at 18 in April 2019, Callum’s Voice was originally a Community Interest Company (CIC) and then became a fully registered charity in February 2020.
Snapp-it is a charity which provides a “free, digital, mobile application that provides a safe and confidential, sign-posting service supporting the mental, emotional, physical and sexual health and wellbeing of children and young people aged between 13 and 25.
A spokesman for Callum’s Voice said yesterday (Tuesday, February 27): “It was an absolute privilege to meet Hayley and Jay from Snapp-it this morning, we are so grateful to them for giving us their time.
“What they have achieved already is incredible, we are truly inspired.
“Thank you for doing the work that you do, we are certain you will have made a huge difference to so many young people already.
“We look forward to working with you in the future and will support you however and whenever we can.”

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Snapp-it said: “What an amazing morning it was today. A new partnership was made.
“Team Snapp-it’s Hayley and Jay had the privilege of meeting the wonderful ladies behind the local charity Callum’s voice.
“It was a real honour to be invited over to their hub in Alfreton by Laura the charity’s founder, hearing about all the amazing work that they do for young people in the local community and looking at ways we can partner in the future to support even more young people.
“These ladies are deeply passionate and give their heart and soul into all the work that they do at Callum’s Voice.
“The charity’s mission is to support autistic children to achieve and maintain positive mental health so that they can lead happy, healthy lives. And it’s clear to see what a positive impact they have on the young people that they support and their families.”
They continued: “A truly inspiring and uplifting meeting today, with likeminded souls who just wish to make a difference
“Callum’s Voice is just like Snapp-it, we may only be small charities but even the smallest charity can make the biggest difference.”
