Forecasters have warned that thunderstorms and torrential downpours could cause disruption across much of the country tomorrow (Thursday, June 23).
Alfreton falls into the large area covered by the Met Office’s yellow weather warning.
The latest forecast for Alfreton tomorrow predicts a high of 26 degrees, with sun for much of the day.
However, there is a chance of heavy showers developing in the evening.
The Met Office forecast says: “Early cloud over the hills will soon clear leaving another fine, warm morning with sunny periods and light winds.
“Cloud increasing during the afternoon with heavy showers developing.”
The yellow warning will be in force from 10am tomorrow morning until midnight.
