Police have launched an appeal for information after a man suffered a broken jaw in an assault in Riddings.
The incident happened on Greenhill Lane, close to the Charcoal Grill, between 10pm and 10.30pm on Friday, July 8.
An appeal issued by Derbyshire Constabulary said: “The man was injured after it was believed he tried to calm down a dispute between two other men.
“He attended hospital for treatment following the incident and is continuing to recover.”
Any witnesses to the incident should contact Derbyshire Constabulary and quote reference 22*395490.
