Halloween is officially over and the start of November means it’s time to look ahead to Bonfire Night.
We have put together a round-up of fireworks displays taking place near Alfreton over the weekend.

Friday, November 4
Bonfire & Firework Night at Amber Valley Rugby Club, Lower Somercotes, Alfreton, DE55 4NQ
Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7pm and fireworks will start at 8pm.
There will be a selection of stalls and fairground rides on the night, as well as a bar and hot BBQ food.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for unaccompanied children. Accompanied children are free.

Saturday, November 5
The Big Firework Extravaganza at Golden Valley Caravan Park, Coach Road, Riddings, Alfreton, DE55 4ES
Gates open at 5.30pm before the display starts at 7.30pm.
As well as the fireworks, enjoy live music, and indoor disco and more.
Tickets will be available to buy on the gate – £10 for adults and £5 for children.

Bonfire Night at The Hurt Arms, Derby Road, Ambergate, DE56 2EJ
Gates open at 5pm before the bonfire is lit at around 6pm.
Enjoy appearances from Disney Characters and pyrotechnic performances before two fireworks displays take place.
Tickets are £14 for adults and £8 for children under the age of 12. Children under two are free.
