We’re getting to an exciting – and hopefully warmer – time of year with lots of key dates in the calendar, including St Patrick’s Day and Easter.
We know lots of wonderful events will be planned to take place in our communities over the coming weeks and months and we would love to help you share the details.
Whether it’s a fundraiser for Comic Relief on March 17, an Easter event during the holidays or something else entirely, there are a number of ways you can share the information with us.
You can post the details directly onto our What’s On calendar by clicking/tapping on the ‘Submit Event’ button.
You can also send the details to editor.spiritofalfreton@gmail.com and we will add them for you.
Of course, you can do this all year round.
You can send us the details of any event you host – a one-off or a regular meeting, such as a photography group or exercise class, or even a sports fixture.
Schools and nurseries are welcome to add term start and end dates, as well as open day details or any other event they are hosting.
Pubs and local venues can share gig details, comedy nights, quiz nights and the like.
