Barclays will offer customer appointments at Alfreton Library following the closure of our local branch last week.
The Alfreton High Street bank closed its doors for the last time on Thursday (August 26).
The closure, announced in May, was due to a reduction in the number of counter transactions taking place at the bank.
However, Barclays is set to maintain a presence in town and will hold appointments with customers at Alfreton Library, in Severn Square, from Thursday (September 1).
Barclays Local appointments will be available every Thursday and Friday between 10am and 4pm.
There won’t be any cash or counter services available but bank staff will be on hand to help with banking advice and to show you how to use your banking app.
Appointments must be booked online via the Barclays website here. Alfreton Library is not able to arrange appointments.
